Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a murky “bitter brown” with minimal white head. Malts to the fore in the aorma, along with hints of autumn fruits. In the mouth there is a slight bitterness, along with plenty of malts and autumn fruits, plus hints of spices and gravy. Finish is dry and quite spicy. Not bad at all.

Cask at the Golden eagle Lincoln. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and citrus sweet. Thin body.
