The Grand Inquisitor is latest collaboration with the dark lord himself Emperor's Brewery! We went all out with this one! We brewed the bte imperial stout recipe, then brewed the emperor's imperial stout recipe, then blended them together for fermentation with a huge amount of organic malple syrup and 47 degrees coffee's brewers crush blend coffee beans and pecan flavour, then once fermentation was complete we back blended a whisky barrel aged impy we had both previously brewed into the tank, making this one hugely complex but stunning imperial stouts you're going to find this side of the galaxy. This is the imperial stout you've been looking for ?

Can 440ml (DBH)
Opaque black colour, not much head. Strong syrupy nose with coffee and maple syrup. Full-bodied. Sweet, syrupy, molasses, coffee, some fruits, alcohol, tartness probably from coffee beans, pecan nuttyness. Interesting but I am not a big fan of coffee here.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is maple syrup, cocoa, dark chocolate, caramel, toffee. Taste is maple, dark chocolate, camp coffee, liquorice toffee, backnote of jammy dark fruits. Lots going on in here. Oodles of alcohol warmth. Deep warming finish.
