Can from RAD at home. Deep chestnut colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty caramel sweet. Slight fruity. Earthy bitter. Medium to full body.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a rich ruby red with a small cream head. The aroma is smoky with some vague fruity hints. In the mouth it has a chewy texture with continental hops mixing with smoky malts, dark fruits and treacle. Finish has yet more malts. It’s OK – but a bit strange.
