Weicher, etwas erdig-holziger Beginn vor enger schwachem Körper. Milde Herbe, nussig, Trauben. Zunehmend dunkelmalziger, trocken, kurzer holziger Abgang. Interessant, in weiten Teilen aber doch eher dünn. 12/8/8/9/11/8

Hazy amber beer with a small white head. Aroma of oranges, grapes, some wood. Taste of ripe oranges, grapefruit, wood, white grapes.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty and woody, slightly vinous fruity aroma, hints of oak, red wine, blue grapes, tannic overtones, whiffs of leather. Taste is slightly dry woody, slightly vinous fruity and minimally tart, pale and caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of oak, hints of red wine, blue grapes, a touch of gin, tannic acid, leather. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. BA dominated but in a mild and balanced mode, not overly spectacular overall - quite nice.
