A blend of different golden ales aged from 10 to 12 months in red wine and bourbon barrels with several different cultures of brettanomyces and lactic acid producing bacteria. Aged for additional 6 months after the barrels on local quinces, seabuckthorn and honey.

Bottle@pbf XIV. Golden colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is tartness, some strange sweetness and a bit wooden tones. Flavour is wooden, floral, quite citrusy with some slight spiciness too.

(Keg at Bier-Bier, 20221118) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, honey, tartness, wood and sourness. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, wood, honey, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, fruity, tart and bitter. A tasty and complex brew with woody notes.

0,75l bottle from the brewery, 2022 version. Bottled 1/2022. Light orange, bit hazy beer with good white head. Aroma and flavor has sour apples, funky notes, perfume and sweet honey, maybe some vanilla too. Also some wood and vinous elements. Complex, but in good balance. Tuju knows the secret of this style.

Bottled. At Juova Hanahuone, Helsinki. Poured light orange in color. Thin head. Funky nose, dried fruits, bourbon and some vinous notes. Really dry as well. Complex and really tasty wild ale. Perhaps a bit sharp, but maybe mellows out after a while.

From backlog. 750ml bottle @ Coolhead Taproom Viikki, Helsinki. Smooth, funky and sourish with some vinous notes, oak, bretta, hints of vanilla, tart berries, zesty quinces and sweetish bourbon in the finish.
