One Barley Wine, split between three barrels to age and evolve. This expression has developed in a 30 year Oloroso Cask and has a nutty, spicy profile, with suggestions of tobacco, leather and dried fruits. The profile will continue to change as it matures but it’s a delicious beer to enjoy now.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 22. Thanks Mike for this. Hazed deep amber, large frothy off-white head. Toffee and sherry nose. Beautiful balance of flavours to taste, really harmonious with nice caramel notes and soft orangey hints. Very good.
