Beer inspired by the Irish stouts. The roasting of the malts develops aromas of coffee and chocolate which are found in the taste together with a licorice finish.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a slightly unclear, dark brown body with a reddish hue. A thin, dense layer of dark beige bubbles on top. Roasted, coffee aroma with a little touch of prunes and toffee. Slightly buttery, but not at an annoying level. Coffee, toffee and bitterness in the flavor, some bitterness towards the end. Medium body, dry. A decent beer indeed, but nothing superb. Drinks easily and tastes good, along with some chocolate it would be very nice I guess. 110319
