An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload - grapefruit peel piled on top of intense U.S. aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with small white head. Aroma is intense fresh bitter grapefruit, peach and grapes with a hint of caramel and malt. Taste is medium sweet, medium to very bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and very sweet and bitter with notes of grapefruit juice, grapefruit peel, malt, caramel, fudge, syrup and hints of plum. Intense and fresh.

From can on board Fridtjofen 08.07.17. Golden orange. Small off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma of apricot, peach, mango and citrus. Similar taste, also with Sevilla marmalade. Medium high bitterness. Sevilla orange marmalade and apricot is lingering on.

Bottle from the LCBO. Medium orange amber with a slight haze under a lingering off white head. Nose is bright orange peel and grapefruit with some pine and light toffee. Flavour really brings out the bright citrus with a ton of grapefruit and orange peel bitterness with the light sweet malt well in the background. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with good carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Very juicy. 7+/4/8+/4-/16

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops notes with some subtle grapefruit notes. Taste is a mix of caramel malt with some citrusy hops notes with light resinous notes and subtle grapefruit notes. Body is full with good carbonation. A bit disappointed with not enough grapefruit notes.

Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, good retention and some light foamy lacing. Big piney aromas from the hops with orange, grapefruit notes over the caramel malt background. Grainy tasting at first with the citrus coming along. Some nice darker cereal notes overall with the hops not being too crazy. Or just well-blended in here. Pretty nice all-around.
