What’s that cooling on the windowsill? Why, the latest lip-puckering pastry creation from Alchemik’s pie shop, of course – and be warned – this one’s a doozy! The alluring odour of freshly baked shortcrust pastry lifts you up off the ground and reels you in like a retro cartoon character. But you’ll have to take a bite (or sip) to meet the star of the show – a sweet, sticky and seriously sour filling of caramelized apples and quince supported by three types of vanilla and our signature spice blend of cinnamon, cardamom, and just a dash of ginger. 3/5/2025. Can from Left Field Beer. Pours clear deep golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is deliciously sweet apple pie crust, light cinnamon, fruity apple and citrus. Has a lovely balanced sweetness and tartness. Medium body, creamy, average carbonation. Very nice.
