From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. The brewer explained that he started Eisbocking his Dubbel because he was left with a large surplus of his Dubbel. Aroma is quite boozy with sweet caramel malt, massive raisins and tons of alcohol. Flavour is very sweet and cloying. Body is full and sticky. No balance at all, has the roughness of an experimental unrefined beer, but overall not a bad slow sippin’ Eisbock.

Super boozy, but no sharpness at all. Incredibly soft for its ABV. Woody, some fruityness, sweet. Lovely stuff.
