Bottle shared with Marko and Anna God! Dark brown, red tint, small off-white head. Subtle wood, dark malts, roasty, chocolate, fine oxidation notes, lightly boozy, brown sugar. Good balance, cognac presence, sweet and sugary. Smooth, very dry lasting finish. Strong, sweet and very complex.

Waxed cap bottle. Malt Attacks, Brussels. Really dark, mahogany brown. Ring of dense, lasting, khaki head. Nose has boozy truffle. Booze soaked vine fruits. Cocoa nibs. Hint of coffee bean. Taste has a sugary coffee sweetness, but is mostly rich, coffee, old leather bitter, and vinous, tart, and a little dry. Medium body. A little too fizzy. Vinous, dry and lightly tart finish.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some light roasted malt notes and huge notes of Cognac and oak. Taste is a mix of black chocolate notes with some heavy residual sugar notes which are offset by woody and Cognac notes that are more prominent than expected. Body is full with nice oily texture and good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes that are discernible. World-class barrel-aged Baltic porter.

After the first sip, I just closed my eyes for 30 seconds, breathed out, and sighed. This is a true porter. Deceptively heavy. ESTONIA!

Dark brown pour, pretty brown foam there as well. Molasses and toffee nose, some light and elegant booze and liquid chocolate. Taste has smoke, light leather and nice booze kick. Sweet cola and bitter alcohol combined there, actually bitterness does balance it and overall it does not cause taste fatigue. Light leathery roasty-toasty finish. Pretty tasty overall.

Så og si svart farge med lys brunt skum. Lukter sjokolade, kaffe, alkohol. Kaffe, men mest sjokoladepreg. Kjenner godt alkoholen.

Black color, tan head, short to medium retention. Aroma is toasty, light roasty, notes of coffee, some caramel and dark fruits. Flavor is slightly sweet, notes of molasses, light coffee beans. Slightly sweetness in the final, good alcoholic presence with slightly cognac hints. Dense mouthfeel.
