Bottle at home. Black with beige head that leaves lacing. Roast, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, soy, oaky booze. Quite harsh and astringent.

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild roasted notes as well as some dried fruits and plum. Flavour has pretty much the same elements as the aroma, but also has some cognac and more wooden elements to it.

Shockingly light and drinkable while being super complex and robust. The cognac is mild, but wonderfully present. Albert hhein ams

330ml bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, raisin, molasses, caramel. Taste is rich, sweet, lots of dark/dried fruits, raisin, caramel, molasses, liquorice, light roast and chocolate malts, brown sugar, quite oaky, nice cognac notes, finish is boozy. Medium bodied, it's rather fizzy/over carbed… ruins the smoothness, but can’t fault the rest of the beer.

Bottle. A big beige head forms over an unclear dark brown body. The aroma is lightly boozy, with hints of oak. Roasted malts, dark dried fruit, toffee and some licorice. It's full bodied and warming on the palate, sweet, with licorice hints, toffee, chocolate, bread notes, some coffee and a herbal hint. Lasting boozy and sweet finish. Delicious indeed. 220624

Bottle at home. Three year old bottle. Has a very dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of rye bread, tobacco, soy sauce, dark chocolate, coffee, walnuts and cognac. Flavour of liqour, ash, roasted coffe beans, dark chocolate and licorice. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. Complex and rich. The flavour is a little unbalanced with the cognac dominating a bit.

Serious bourbon nose, grape and dried fruits, sweet boozy, but very easy drinking for the ABV
