ABV: 11.5%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, alcohol - sweet alcohol - cognac, moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, cognac - sweet alcohol, barrel - oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200317]

33 cl bottle, bottled in July 2019. Near black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet aroma with cognac barrel, peat, coffee, dark chocolate, booze, brown sugar and toasted bread. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Drying roasted finish with dark malts. Lovely, lots of cognac barrel.

Keg at tilt. A jet black brown coloured pour with a thin dark tan head. Aroma is earthy, salty roast, apple, liquorice, bitter roast, wet dog. Flavour is composed of salty roast, semi sweet, ashy roast. Apple, liquorice,. Palate is semi sweet moderate carbonation oily. Bitter roast. Ash.
