Can at home picked up from HOTM a opque black brown coloured pour with a dark tan head. Aroma is milky strawberry nisquik, powdered chocolate. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, medium chocolate hazelnut, praline, jammy doughnPalate is semi sweet, milky, moderate carbonation. good.

330ml can. Black with a brown head. Aroma of fruit cake, chocolate, lactose. Taste is sweet, rich fruit cake, blueberry, strawberry, cherry, chocolate, vanilla, fair bit of lactose, not getting any barrel but some booze. Medium-full bodied, smooth.

Can 2020, 11.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, candy, liquorice and berries. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, berries, sweet, candy, liquorice, spices, warming and a little bitter.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 13/11/20. Pitch black with a decent tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, marzipan, Red Bull, chocolate, brown sugar melt, light barrel touch, nutty tones. Taste comprises dried fruits, caramel, chocolate, toffee fudge, mellow bourbon rip, sweet bite, peanut butter crisp. Full bodied, light oily feel, light warming booze in the close. Decent tasting impy stout ... the nose was just a touch on the sickly / dungy side to make this score 4 and upwards !

Can sourced from Beerdome and drunk at home (06/11/2020) - black with a tan ringed head. Sweet dark malty with loads of rich chocolate, layers of toffee and caramel, chocolate sauce, sweet cakey malts, spices, sweet lactose infused smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, bourbon and vanilla coalesce into the lingering sweet chocolate malty finish.
