Can from 8e Pint Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, dark fruits, some coffee, orange, soft liquorice, touch of ash, chocolate cake. Flavour is fairly sweet with an above moderate roasty bitterness. Body is full. Pretty rich, like a fruited chocolate cake.

33cl can. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, chocolate, caramel. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, some liquorice.

Can at home, 30th April 2020. Pours black and thick. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice. Taste is spot on, classic impy, liquorice, chocolate, very roasty, light smoke, drinks smoothly, some dryness and light sweetness, not too sickly. Very nice one

Can. \black. Caramel, roast and ash in the aroma and flavor. Full bodied. Alcohol well hidden. Tobacco and licorice in the finish. Nice.

Pours like motoroil, a jet black colour and a dense light brown head with some retention. Aroma's of hard roasted malts, some red fruit, alcohol and fudge. Retronasal it's roasted, sweetish, drop/licorice, umami, red fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet, a bit umami, roasted and fruity. Alcohol feel is quite moderate considering it's 13% ABV. Body is full, mouthfeel smooth. Long finish with lots of chocolate. Nice stuff.

Black and oily with thin head. Aroma and flavour have nice bittersweetness of roasted malt. Warming but not overly boozy or alcoholic

Can sample at a tasting at Oren's place. Black, tan foam. Soy sauce, lots of butterscotch, toffee, cherry liqueur, chocolate, licorice, sweet, sake note, full-bodied.
