Poured from a 750 ml bottle dated June, 2019. Aroma is somewhat fruity with lemon, stone fruit, pear and strawberries. Slight floral note. Light grain notes. Faint earthy, herbal funk with a light peppery note and a bit of poopiness. A bit of a diacetyl, butterscotch note. Pours a slightly hazy, copper-orange with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat acidic with a light sweetness and light grain notes. Low bitterness and low alcohol notes. Light lemon, under ripe stone fruit and pear notes. Light earthy, herbal funk. Faint phenolics. Medium light floral note and a bit of a diacetyl note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright geuze but not a great one. It has some off notes in both the aroma and flavor and not enough funk to balance the off notes.
