Aroma: a lot of barrel, but not the best one, though, kinda aggressive and meaty, some fruity notes.
Taste: full-bodied, moderately sweet, some roasted malt and fruity notes.
Overall: fine.

Poured from 500mL bottle (pkg 20/03/2024; bb 20/03/2026). Very dark brown with no head. Nutty woody barrel forward, boozy harshness, chocolate and bourbon, very feint fruit note in the background, unbalanced.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A black beer, no head. Aroma and Taste of strong dark roasted malt, coffee, wood, chocolate, cocoa, some red fruits.

Sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest, Antwerp 2024-11-08. Black with aroma of vanilla, roasted malt, cocoa, coconut and cream. Very sweet, faint bitter and light salty.

Tap at Billies. Black with pudding like head. Massive bourbon, sweet chocolate, light boozy, oak, more pudding. Super thick and boozy, over medium sweet. Good stuff, like bourbon vanilla udding, it just looks a bit weird.

Geprobeerd op de Della Fonte Tasting bij Keukeman. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van whisky en hout. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, koffie, whisky en salmiak.
