30cl Fles van Vonk. Donker rood-bruin, beige kraag. Aroma is zoetzuur, licht vineus, rode wijn, hint van balsamico, hout. Smaak is lichtzuur, vrij zoet, donker fruit en snoepjes, het citroenzuurtje houdt de zoetigheid in toom. Medium body. Smakelijk, al is het vrij zoet.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 28 Aug 2019) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with notes of dried fruit, caramel, orange peel and mandarin. Fruity, slightly tart taste with apricots, prunes, citrus, orange peel and a low bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Interesting, but not really balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Clear amber brown colour, fair frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma vinous, black currant, black berry, bubble gum. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter with light acidity in the background, malty, fruity, black currant, black berry, caramel, bit vinous. Medium body, oily to sticky texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, light molasses, bit of brett and wood, very nice.

Bottle, thanks to Gabriel. Low key vinous dark berry aroma. Cloudy dark amber. Thick off-white shaving foam head. Light bitter with a warm tangy and vinous sour streak. Some fruit sugar sweetness then develops and gets increasingly jammy. Medium bodied. Slick sticky mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. On reading that this was a blend between an Eisbock and a Sour I was slightly trepidatious. However this beer is retrained yet warming.

Bottle from the groceries at Plus! Clear tea-brown. Wide sweetness, thin sourness. Sickly, cherries, bubblegummy, weird, grassy hops, jammy, bitter tea. What the hell is this doing in a supermarket? Totally weird beer. Medium body and soft carbonation.
