Süffiger, wenig säuerlicher Beginn. Spritzig trotz des Alkohols, geringe Bitterkeit, steigend würzig, relativ trocken. Mittellanger Abgang. Unspannend. 12/9/9/8//8

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra, Wijk bij Duurstede. Clear light brown. Sour hoppy aroma with some red fruits. Sour taste with some sweetness as well. Eis bocked sour IPA FTW!

Bottle. Color: Dark orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Dark and red sourish fruit, herbal, malt. Taste: Dark and red moderate tart fruit, orange peel, mandarin, blueberries, dark malt, caramel and hop. Moderate tart, sweet and bitter. Somewhat more bitterness at finish. Funky hints. Rather strange but also interesting combnation of flavours. Studio Oedipus-like with a 'layer' of sweetish Gulpener Eisbock. According to the flavours, most credits for this beer go to Oedipus. I even think it would have been better without the Gulpener Eisbock 'twist'...

Een licht fruitige fruity sour, waar wat zoete karamellige bock aan is toegevoegd. Wel smakelijk, maar niet wereldschokkend.

0.3 l bottle from 'De Bierkoning', best before June 2020. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally sourish, gently fruity aroma of caramel, red fruits and traces of citrus and pine. Gently sweet, malty, moderately roasty and quite fruity taste of red fruits, caramel, some citrus and a touch of pine, followed by a short, moderately tart, slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, minimally astringent, quite smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, quite full-bodied for a Sour Ale, still refreshing due to the acidity and the dry-hopping.

Tap. Amber color. Gummy bears in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and gummy bears. Bretty notes even. Weird but nice.
