Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, clear amber color. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, caramel malts, soil, roasted grain, minerals, leafs, grass, harsh hops, old pine needles, bark, flower. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish foresty, leafs, bark, weeds, harsh hops, soil, cardboard, old pine needles, roasted grain, alcohol, grass, flowers. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Notater fra Bergen Ølfestival, en alle tiders ettermiddag på Verftet i lag med Børge&Karen. Fra fat: nesten helt klar rødlig kobberfarge med fint skum som varer. Nåletrær, karameller, rognebær og grapefrukt. Nice one.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Patchy surface, dark copper coloured body, rich lacing. Inviting on the nose with dried fruits and earthy malts, mid-sweet. Quite delicate taste of dried fruits, caramel malts, and a light touch of spices. Lingering bittersweet finish. Fine depth. Good drinking. (Tromsø, 17.09.2024).
