50 cl bottle poured in to a Dimpled mug. Enjoyed with pork roast which in my opinion as the best food pairing with this type of beer. Clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Sweet aroma with freshly baked bread, straw, floral and earthy hoppy notes. Taste is light sweet. Medium bodied. Drying, fruity-grassy finish. Excellent balance and drinkability.

Pours slightly darker than golden, transparent. About two fingers of loose white head, which recedes quite quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aroma: malty base of cereal/hay and the slightest hint of caramel, honey, delicate flowery hops and a hint of grassiness, a light soapy feel; nice though not very strong. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, but with a bit more sweetness than the smell suggested (rather strong honey notes, caramel more distinct). Overall still in good balance, with a slight sweet edge in the mouth and a balanced, semi-dry finish. Medium to light body with average carbonation, easily drinkable. Nice, though i wasn't impressed by anything specific.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, honey, dough, citrus and grass. Malty taste with notes of bread, dough, honey, citrus peel, grass and a mild herbal, grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well made and tasty, but fairly generic. Quite nice.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours crystal clear light gold with a frothy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with pleasant biscuity malts, a hint of caramel, hay, very mild bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more biscuits, dough, caramel accents, hay. Drinkable stuff overall.

500ml bottle from Westhill. It pours crystal clear yellow - gold with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy malt, sponge cake, leafy, general fruitiness, herbal accents and spice. The taste is dry, fairly crisp, bitter - sweet, grassy, herbal, leafy, peppery spice, grainy, sponge cake, sweet doughy bread, metallic twang and some alcohol. Finish drying, yet sweet and bready. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Lacks a bit of wow factor, sits quite flat on the palate. Fair, but not up their usual snash.

Golden with a medium sized head. Sweet and tangy with bread, honey and a bit of perfume. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth.
