This Ale poured a deep black colour with a light beige, rocky head. To the nose there are scents of grape, smoke, banana and vanilla. First sip was smooth with flavours of smoke, bananas and bubblegum. Slight flavour of wine on the finish with a light bitterness and a slight flavour of band aids. ???

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Dark brown clour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of smoke, caramel and dark fruit. Malty, smoky taste with dried fruit, caramel, chocolate, smoked ham, orange and citrussy hops. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Rather complex (or is that complicated?) and slighty weird beer. But definitely enjoyable.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear mahonagy colour, faint head. Sugary nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel and medium body. Evidently smokey, but with hard, sloppy simplistic malt profile. Sugary with peppery alcohol and resiny bitterness. A complete mess.

Dark color, amber brown and red. Dusty aroma, some sweet wood, very light smoke and cacao; sweetish, a bit perfumy. Caramel flavor, with enough residual sweetness, light smoke, light vegetables touch; so far not so impressive; but then there is light fruitness. The final is a bit dry. Strange Smoked, not too bad.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseMan. Pours a light brown with a beige head. Aroma has roasted malts with a distinct whiff of peaty smoke. Body is fairly solid, base has roast and toffee but itβs the peaty smoke that dominates working as an enticing spice. Finish is vaguely hoppy but itβs the smoke that follows you all the way through. 221109
