The Christmas edition of Saison d’Erpe-Mere, a deep peach blond, hazy beer with a bitterish and sourish character on a sweet malt base and impressions of lemon, pear, yoghurt and bitter honey. Made for the first time end 2007 in a very limited quantity of only 20 hl, and I’m not sure it was ever made again after that.

hazy yellow with a big and lasting white head. Yeasty aroma with pineapple and other tropical fruits. Yeasty and fruity flavour with a hint of grassy hops in the finish. Very full bodied to the point of being slightly cloying.

75cl bottle. Trade with TheWolf. Thanks. Pours a hazy orange with a large egg white fluffy head. Hay, yeast, grass, hops, fruity, spices/herbs, coriander, orange, vanilla, funk. Super crisp, refreshing and smooth. Lively carbonation. Well balanced and really tasty. This brewery can do no wrong!

Hazy, blond body with a white, creamy head. Aroma of german hops, citrus, caramel. Very well balanced and complex flavour. Moderately bitter (hops), moderately sweet (caramel) flavour: quite intense. Smooth saison with a nice caramel touch. Lovely.

Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. An unclear orangey beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is very spicy with coriander and cloves being most dominant. The flavor is sweet matly with strong notes of spices - again cloves and coriander, but also light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Kerstbierfestival 2007 Von diesem Bier wurden lediglich 20 hl gebraut. Herber Antrunk, etwas bitter, in Teilen fruchtig. Eingeschränkte Hefigkeit, etwas alkoholische Bitterkeit im Nachgeschmack, kurz vorher steigt die Hopfigkeit stark an und wirkt etwas übertrieben, zuletzt kräuterartig. Test vom 20.12.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,8,9,10,-,8 - 8,89
