Creamy liightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter fiish. Creamy palate.

Black colour with small beige head.Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate nice overall smooth taste of cocoa and earth,good strong finish.

My 100th Icarus rating! 12 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Thick, dense, creamy dark tan head. Sweet roasted maltnose has notes of coconut, coffee and vanilla. Some nuttiness as well. Bittersweet chocolate notes upfront. More coffee and nuts, but coconut flavor is subtle. Burning alcohol notes from the 14.5% ABV. Thick, viscous mouthfeel. Becomes more complex as brew warms. Coconut and nut flavors are more evident. Scorched malt and resiny hops in finish.
