Weighing in at 4.5 ABV, Rudie begins with a big fruity hop aroma of pears and watermelon candy, but is relatively low in actual bitterness, lending itself perfectly to those moments when you want to drink beer, but need to hold it together - or not.

Can from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Hazy orange, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet nose of tropical fruit and caramel. Fruity, bit dry. Easy drinkable. Ok.

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, sweet, malty, some caramel, bit soapy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness, bit soapy, citrus, grassy, fruity notes, quite some grapefruit, sweet, some peach candy. Aftertaste: fruity, bit sweet, resinous touch, lots of citrus, grapefruit, bit watery.

12 oz can poured. Purchased at Molly’s spirits, during my Denver trip. Pours an oily golden color with a ton of foam head. Mild hoppiness to the aroma with some citrus. Damn this is so refreshing. Light citrus, easy drinking, nice hop profile. I wish I bought a case of this stuff. Very nicely done. Love the long lingering hop character here. Bonus points for a bad ass commercial description. I’ve been on a real trend lately. I’m pretty sure I just love Colorado beer. Hmm. Solid session here for sure.

Can picked up at Beer Gonzo webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Saturday 29th August 2015 I have to confess to being rather underwhelmed by this. Clear gold but edging towards amber, this had a white head atop. A little thin in the mouth the hops struggling to assert themselves. A little wishy-washy mandarin shows, though it lacks the crisp bitter bite I was hoping for. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Can from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden amber pour with a frothy white head, aroma has mellow pine and some zesty tangerine, taste has tangerine, sweet malts, a hint of grapefruit, crisp with a moderate bitter finish.

Draft at Crescent Moon. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of herbal and floral citrus. Taste has lightly bitter summer fruit. Easy drinking.

355 ml can. Clear golden body with a nice white head. Relatively strong hoppy aroma with a wide variety of different hops, citric, tropical, grassy, floral etc. Flavor is light pale malt with distinct bitterness and complex fruitiness from the hops. Medium to thin body and fruity bitter aftertaste with a hint on chewing gum by the end. Nice and refreshing session IPA.

Clear orange golden color with a big white head. Citric, caramel malt and some fruity notes in the aroma. Nice body and a fine carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Grapefruit hoppy, pine, caramel malt and fruity flavor. Nice tasty session stuff.
