Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of youghurt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus, spices, and youghurt, combined with a light touch of the alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottled. Hazy dark orange/brown colour with huge off white bubbly head. Very nice fruity aroma with some caramellish hints. Flavour is strong yeast and hops with lots of spices in the finish. Not as fruity flavour, as the aroma was.

Bottled (BB 02/2008)
Dark chocolaty brown, big cloudy beige head. Aroma is fruity (lychee, banana) with some metallic notes. Carbonated, crisp, a bit hoppy and alcoholic. Citric-lemony flavor. Despite of color, quite triple-like. Not too sweet even as candy sugar is added here. (6/4/7/3/13 3.3). Re-rated bottle [BB 12/2008]. 5/4/6/2/10 2.7

(Is this beer a clone from Bon Secours Ambrée - or not? They say no (surprise), claim original recipe and all, and it's officialy 0.5% ABV weaker. Until further notice, I regard them as different, but I won't be brokenhearted proven wrong. Brewed for a butchers' in North-Flanders) Very slightly hazy amber; luxurious, creamy amber-coloured head, slowly collapsing leaving good lace. Yeasty aroma's, caramel, peppery and ginger, some orangezest. Faint human sweat, even. First a smoky flavour, going to faint meat flavours. Mainly sweet, preserved orange. Much less spicey than the nose. Some bitterness retronasal. Medium-bodied, slick mouthfeel. Slight alcohol impression. Bit "fade" - not really bland, but unexciting. Yeasty/meaty aromas typical for Caulier.
