Small white head, fast gone over (cold)hazed golden beer. Very sourish nose, bit fruity, bit lactic, bit acetic; farmyard odours, wild yeasts. Sour and lightly spicy, touches of Brett, pineapple ester, lemon and other fruity flavours, hinting at sweetness if less well qualifyable. Light body, high attenuation, lively carbonation and a bit burning feel, acidburn. Quite OK.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. 2014 bottle. Cloudy yellow. Lovely funky aroma with barnyard, citrus, sweat and flowers. Sour flavor, funky, with some lacto, fruitiness, quite citric. Medium-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, cloudy quite pale orange color, aroma of yeast, vinegar, apples and a light spicy hint, sour fruit and apple flavor with some lemon and spice, medium piercing sourness with a light balancing sweetness. Really good and satisfying.

At the Alvinne Craft Beer Festival in Vichte-Belgium, with markoijelena. Bottle. Pours yellow clear color, small foamy head. Nose: charming white wine notes. Refreshing and very balanced sourness. Something different and good! Bravo!

37.5 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp wineous, fruity and light citric. Smooth citric fruity flavoured. Lingering fruity and crisp hoppy into the finish.

At ACBF. Saison style beer with creamy, stable head and cloudy yellow blonde colour; complex estery nose, impressions of red apple, pineapple, yoghurt, baker’s yeast, grass, lemon peel; very yeasty, fruity taste, starch-like yeastiness on the palate, sweetishness paired with a certain amount of tartness, bready malts and complex, vinous, dryishly tart finish, very yeasty with some grassy hop providing some bitterness. Nice.

Bottle sample @ ACBF 2015. De couleur dorée claire, col fin blanc. Arôme est légèremetn aigrelet, note de grains, léger fruité avec une fine note houblonnée. Palais reste accentué sur une aigreur légère. Pointe d epomme, grains pour un profil sec. Note d’agrumes et résiduel de citron vert. Effervescence est haute avec un fini sour. Je manque un peu à y voir le côté saison belge. Une belle différence entre cette version et la griotta qui me semblait nettement plus convaincante.
