50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light cornish. Bitter, light grassy and medium sweet malt. Bitter, light toasted and grassy finish.

Yellow with a small white head. Pilsner malt dominates the aroma with grass and grain mostly. Rather sweet grainy flavour that could easily be improved with some hops. But it’s one of the better non-German German pilseners.

0.65 l plastic bottle. Pours very nice yellow/golden color with thin white head spoiling the appearance. Relatively carbonated but it faded soon to the minimal level. Aroma is very weak, some citrus hops. Flavor not bad, light but still too watery. Palate is fine, nothing special, somewhat longer finish but too watery again. A bit of cardboard hints. Not too bad beer, but should have much more accent... you can drink juice this way.

Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts and hops along with hayish notes. Flavour is earthy, hoppy and has some malts in it too. Refreshing, if not having it for any other reason.

Land #52. Test vom 20.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,10,9,8,9 - 9,00

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Floral, hoppy aroma. Medium body with some sweet malt balanced by some dry hops. Decent all right. 140306

An orange beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet malty and grainy combined with some notes of brewmash. The flavor is also grainy and malty, but also somewhat sour - which makes me wonder if brewing cereal has been used. The mouthfeel is slightly sticky. For quenching my thirst with nothing else around - I’d take this without any problem.

Bottled. Pale golden. Dry and bready with clean mouthfeel. Surprsingly crisp and hoppy, with striking late bitterness. A typical German style pilsener.

Blond color. The aroma is light and hoppy, not bad. The taste is dry, watery, quite bitter, poor; corn. Thanks Jens (Ungstrup) for this bottle.

My first Balkan beer. This is brewed in Vojvodina though, which is more panonic than balkanic....whatever . So, what did I expect from our eastern neighbours....nothing much really, but I’m drinking this completely without bias. Typical pale lager look, pale yellow, quite carbonated, medium fluffy head. Nothing groundbreaking. Nose ? Dust, unpleasant malt, lemon. Interesting taste, but not in a god way grainy and watery, a bit stale. Suprisingly fine aftertaste (compared to the actual taste) - nice bitterness and lemon. Left me underwhelmed though. I expected a bit more really. What had me laughing was the label, which says "Brauerei MB", and "Pilsener Bier". Probably to trick the unwary into thinking that theyre buying and drinking something German. I wish they imported their Premium and Dunkel instead of this.
