Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Vulkan Pale Ale ].Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange, perfume, tangarins. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration, citrus, tangarin - mandarin, perfume, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170207] 7-3-7-3-15

DIeses Bier fand ich in einer Spezialitätenbox bei Hofer, wo es mit einem attraktiven Preis verkauft wurde. Es ist ein oranges, leicht zu trinkendes Pale Ale, das sich recht friedlich verhält. Es hat aber allerlei feine Aromen zu bieten, weshalb ich es nicht als langweilig bezeichnen würde. Ein gutes, gemütliches Feierabendbier.

0.33 l swingtop bottle from ’Braukunstladen’, best before November 2016. Clear, dark amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a little resiny aroma of mango jam, orange and a touch of pine. Sweetish, quite malty, moderately fruity and a little resiny taste of mango jam, orange, some apricot and a touch of pine, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, but might be better fresh.

*Can from Craft Beer Kontor, Hannover. Great fresh nose of floral hops. The beer starts intense herbal floral, the body is low and soft, not too intense but I like this. Sessionable, fresh and floral hops, hints of citrus with pine, nice and round.
