Dark brown colour, beige brown head. Nose has coffee, cocoa, cherries and some sour notes. A lot of sour cherries are defining the taste at first, going over to a more chocolaty and caramel/toffee notes. Compared with a non-Grand Cru version, I like this one definitely better! Reminds me of a chocolate candy that has just one cherry - sour and soaked in rum - inside. Very nice.

Pitch black color with med brown color head. Intense bourbon nose with rich dark chocolate and rum balls in the nose. The mouth is med full and a touch unbalanced, sour with dark chcolate. Not smooth. Sour. I wonder if it comes from the cherries.

Another awesome stout from siren. Smokey and lots of roast malt. Light barrel blend that doesnโt overpower pungent aroma. Black with mocha head and lacing. Bitter finish with touch of caramel. Thanks to iphonephan for a taste of this. Bottle Churchkey.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Nearly black. Bubbly, lasting, tan head. Dark chocolate. Sour cherry. Caramel biscuit. Taste is tart, freshly roasted coffee bean, dry. All of which is spoiled, by being way too fizzy, and coming across like drinking a can of Coke. Finish is dry, and fairly tart. Should be silky smooth, not burp inducing!

Pours pitch black with a massive foamy brown head. Aroma of tart cherries, vinous woody notes, roasty malts, sweet syrup and vanilla. Taste has loads of cherries, vinous notes, roasty malts, chocolate and cocoa. Finish is smooth, roasty and woody with some red wine notes and cherries. Quite complex and untypical stout with loads of cherries.
