Our new Birthday IPA! And it's Simcoe's time to shine. Well Simcoe and Nelson...and a touch of Ekuanot. Oh and heaps of Citra and Idaho 7 in the whirlpool. It's good. It's really really good. Happy Birthday us.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 28/07/24. Hazed orange yellow with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is punchy tropical fruits, restrained Nelson, orange pith, grapefruit, light piney nostril tickle, grass, melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, melon, mandarin, citric tinged straw, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow Nelson laden grassy hop bitterness. Solid ... a good intro to Nelson for those who don't have the palate to appreciate it to its full extent!
