Bottle, 8.5%. Mild spicy aroma, bit of wet hops. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, has a good spicy note and more of the wet hop note. Quite well-balanced and pleasant.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy golden with floating impurities and a white head. Comes a slow gushing. Sweet yeasty and spicy nose. Medium body, sweet malty and fruity - almost sugary, no spiciness in the flavour really. Alcoholic finish. 241009

Bottled. Muddy nut brown, no head. Sugary aroma of burnt coffee. Full bodied with bold mouthfeel. Yeasty and sulphury with unpleasant notes of rubber and a slightly sticky finish.

Hazy brown-chestnut beer; small brownish head. Nice nose, simple but effective combination of alcohol(s) and hops. Burnt & roasted malts, but leaving space for still quite some restsugars. There’s some bitterness, leafy and slightly hoppy, but not really distinctive. Medium to well-bodied, some alcoholwarming. Not bad. For Boelens’ recent prestations, breathtakingly good, and certainly infection-free.
