Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of red wine, chocolate, spice, wood. Taste is more of the same. Complex.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - mat black with an olive sheen. Thin beige head. Nose - toffee, honeycomb and spun sugar. Brown sugar too. Taste - toffee, marmalade, prunes and brown sugar, possibly going into maple syrup. Palate - medium bodied, sweet and rich middle and finish. Overall - lovely stuff.
