Solid enough traditional pale bitter, pours a clear golden colour, with a creamy white head, and a sweet, malty aroma, with floral notes thrown in. Smooth and creamy, some hints of fruit in the sweet malt backbone, and a nice old school bitterness which builds into the finish

Historical tick which I am adding as a rate so that I can see the impact it has on my stats. 500 Beers To Try Before You Die. One of those beers I picked up early on when I hadn't really discovered crafty stuff.

From cask at Turf Tavern, Oxford, on tour to 22 southern counties with OGJ and EE 03.01.18. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Slightly fruity aroma and taste of pale malt, marmalade and fine hops. Hops are lingering on. An excellent bitter!
