Fairtrade product. Differs in description on rice, coming from India. Yellow-amber color with small white head, clear with some particles. Cork nose. Taste is sweet, acidic finish, . Aroma of apple, cherry, grapes, fruity, some grains and caramel, alcohol. Dry, high lively carbonation, light body. Has a feel of prosecco wine. Strange...

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a tall and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly sour-fruity aroma with notes of papaya and slightly perfumed (Indian-like) flowery notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied at most with a lively carbonation. Fruit-accented and slightly malty taste with shy spicy notes; almost slim, fruity and shy bitter finish. Not really convincing. 10.I.11

33 cl bottle from Wereldwinkel Hasselt (B). Looks beautiful: dark golden color, sparkling, lasting white head. Aroma is grainy & malty with a lot of fruit. Taste is a bit sweet and still lots of fruit (almost sour), a hint of spices. Not great, but OK.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Some higher alcohol on the nose, with apples and pears. Not entirely clean, but also far from awful. Malts, alcohol, fruity sweetness, some syrupy notes and bitterness. Medium body, slightly warming and pleasantly carbonated. Alcohol and fruityness in the finish. A decent beer, but there’s something wrong here, as the aroma indicates. 091024
