330ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, foamy white head, aroma is malt and hints of fruity hop. Tangy bitterness, citrus hop taste, malt and earthy notes, with a dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Yellowish amber pour, frothy thin head. Probably "the" perfect session ale. Light malty aroma, malty bitter taste. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't like this beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Es war zu einer Zeit als ein Pale Ale noch ein wahnsinnig spezieller Bierstil war und heimische Brauer sich noch nich an diesen heranwagten bzw einfach noch nicht existierten. Damals fand ich es recht gut, wenn auch nicht umwerfened. Es hatte einen gut ausbalancierten Körper und ließ sich gemütlich trinken -viel mehr war und ist es nicht. Man macht aber auch nichts falsch, wenn man dieses Bier bestellt.

33cl bottle at Alquitara. Dark golden colour with a white head of medium duration. Aroma is slightly hoppy with notes of apple and citrus. Flavour is moderate bittery, fruity and with a dry final. Carbonation si medium. Body is medium.

Bottle, shared by Arve_Christian. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruit, some halt and hints of spices. Sweet and fruity with a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Very pleasant pale ale. (2012-06-16)

Bottle. Cloudy bronze beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is well hopped and dry, and the flavour is well hopped with a toffee and bitter finish. Overall a nice hopped and bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Half pint in the Greenwich Union, Meantime Breweries tap house: I gave a bottle of this beer an overall score of 3.98 back in Feb 2010 on BA; the on-tap version in Oct 2011 didn’t do so well. Bright and clear, the amber body looked clean and inviting; the off-white head didn’t hang around or give off much lacing. The aromas rising from the glass were of floral, fruity hops (is this dry hopped after brewing I wonder?). Hops dominate the flavour, bitter and fairly sharp tasting, almost leaning towards an over hopped pilsner in its feel and body depth. It didn’t really do it for me, well carbonated, in fact too well, hence my pilsner comment: not the best Meantime beer by a long way.
