With Summer winding down and @vowl.bar dropping a sexy new Cocktail menu, we figured we’d try and wind y’all up one more time with a fresh Tiki-inspired GF Sour. “Please Rewind” is a riffed-out take on a Peachy Colada, but with a Tiki flair for the weird.
Conditioned on Coconut, Pineapple, Peach, Tiki Spices, and Demerara Sugar, this flavor bomb rewinds my ass straight back to the Blockbuster Action Movie section in the late 90’s.
Fruity, citrusy, tropical AF, spiced, sour, drinkable. Yes. And at 6% ABV, you can actually drink more than one, without accidentally getting sucked into your favorite action movie and fighting a buncha bad dudes alongside the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger! TIKI IN A CAN! IT’S ALL THE RAGE, RIGHT?!?!?! Blockbuster would be proud, and honestly, they’d probably have some cool snack deals lined up for this lil’ bevvy, but we alllll know Mom would never let us go that crazy!

Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
The appearances here are something else - like a yellowish orange version of pond scum or a chemical vat with huge filmy bubbles and lots of scum. Aromas are much better and mainly pineapple with a little peach and coconut plus some spices. Flavors are similar to nose, All the qualities come through stronger and add in some cinnamon. More sweet than tart with decent body and carbonation. Wouldn't have guessed that it's a gluten-free. Maybe the best gluten free I've ever had. Except for the appearance.
