Draught at the brewery
Hazy dark chestnut color; creamy head. It’s too cold, but at least it releases some caramel and nice (but very light) hop aroma. It has a good body structure and a good but quite original flavor, based on a perfectly roasted (i.e. mildly roasted) malt, with caramel, very high carbonation, getting a drier mouthfeel towards the end. Correct bitterness, when in the final also some from the roasted malt participates. Well brewed.

A hazy dark amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet matly with primary notes of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter end - over a thin body.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a small, off-white head. Unclean aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with somewhat dry, roasted malty accents with an unclean edge. Dry finish. 210906

(bottle) Hazy brown colour with a mid-sized, non-persistent foamy beige had. Sweet and slightly toasty malt aroma with toffee and shy hints of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly yeasty taste with toffee; dry, malty and slightly bitter finish with notes of coffee and herbal hops. Pretty drinkable but also unspectacular.

Draught. Sour aroma. Cloudy brown colour, almost muddy. Small head. Smells infected like hell. The taste is not as bad as smell, but infected. Quite roasted, sourish flavour. 3 3 3 3 3
Bottle, 4.9%. This time not infected, but with a bready flavour and quite boring. 5 3 5 3 11

Test vom 15.8.2005, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,8,9,8,-,8
