Spur is a massive in-house favourite here at Polly’s with Arron routinely naming it as his favourite beer that we produce, and the proof is in the pudding – the hop bill of Azacca, Citra and Simcoe bounces with Um-Bongo levels of tropical flavour, featuring a full on fruit salad of papaya, peach, tangerine and mango on both the nose and flavour. Slathered with our LA3 yeast culture for massive hop suspension, this is a beer that is 100% hazy, dank, and juicy.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. An unclear yellow beer with a dense, white head leaving curtains. The aroma has grapefruit, pine cones some green grapes and grass, as well as a gentle maltyness. It's medium to full bodied and nicely carbonated, dryish, with a rather low bitterness level. Mostly hoppy flavor too, grapefruit and pine cones dominates, with some pale malts as a backdrop. Medium length finish. Refreshing and nice, but it lacks on bitterness I think. 240802

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Yellow/gold, hazy. Almost no head. Intense hop aroma: white grapefruit, apricot, mango, scallion. Sweet taste which gets a little bit bitter fairly quickly in the mouth, almost slightly medicinal in the finish. Full body, medium carbonation. Full body, medium carbonation. A bit hop-heavy and unwieldy but I warmed to it throughout the course of drinking it.
