Spur is a massive in-house favourite here at Polly’s with Arron routinely naming it as his favourite beer that we produce, and the proof is in the pudding – the hop bill of Azacca, Citra and Simcoe bounces with Um-Bongo levels of tropical flavour, featuring a full on fruit salad of papaya, peach, tangerine and mango on both the nose and flavour. Slathered with our LA3 yeast culture for massive hop suspension, this is a beer that is 100% hazy, dank, and juicy.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 31/08/23. (As Polly's Brew Spur). Hazed golden orange topped with a white head. Nose is juicy citric flesh, tangerine, grass, grapefruit, mandarin, soft malts. Taste comprises mandarin, grapefruit, papaya, soft malts, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Decent IPA.

Keg at Anchor Tap, Croxley, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Hoppy, orange, mango, pineapple, tropical fruit taste/aroma. Lovely rich, thick IPA from Polly's.

Grumsete uklar gul/høyfarget med offwhite topp. Aroma; plomme,pære, hint av sitrus og ananas. Smak; malt, plomme, svisker, Phyllis, lett bitter ettersmak av ananas.

Bière en boîte métal 44 cl.robe superbe ultra trouble a la couleur claire et chatoyante. Nez divin sur l'ananas et les fruits murs tropicaux.bouche tropicale, ananas, pointe de pamplemousse. Amertume présente mais fondue, très intégrée. Une neipa dans les règles de l'art et excellente tout simplement.

Notater fra en hyggelig rb-kveld sammen med trekkspilleren på Våland: nå en 0,44 boks fra Hop Burns & Black. Helt uklar korngul med ok skum. Nyslått gress, granskudd, lactose, aprikoser og søt grapefrukt. God forfriskning (etter to brown ales) med nokså søtlig avslutning.

Smell-medium strong, fruits, hops, some sweetness, some tropical notes. Foam-thin, hops, burned sugar, fruits. Head is large, white. Sticks. Appearance- simple can, nothing bad, but nothing amazing also. Hazy yellow-orange color, high carbonation. From- pint Taste- fruity, sweet, burned sugar and even more sweetness in the back. Close to being sickly sweet, but then some hops do appear. Citrusy and very sugary, something is lacking, in general, to properly balance this out. Not the best hazy one, but not bad also.
