Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: semi-transparent amber color with a finger and a quarter's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: honey, floral portions of some rye, sweet wheat, light corn sweetness; subtle grassy hops underneath.
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet with a subtle sidenote of grassy hop bitterness trying to make a decent play at the balance of this; mild finish of sweet wheat, floral rye and honey
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness to the tongue but also I think some of the rye might punch a little bit at the tongue
Overall: English strong ale or American strong ale? Part of me says - closer to the English side because I believe this beer would be way hoppier if this was an American strong ale, just my thoughts. Still, I believe I could come back to.

So this is a new variation on the old Jefferson eh? Pour is clear gold pale. Nose is that of some volatile mild canned cream corn. Taste is a little ruff up front. Reminds me quite a bit of some of those cheap maro ice beers. Some decent mild carbonation. Somewhat sweet, perhaps bordering a little on cloying. Getting a kindah more difficult in the middle. It's somewhat more viscous than the Jefferson Ale fer sher. Seems to be putting a kibosh feeling on my noggin towards the end. Finishes with a stronger boozy ale bite.

Easy drinking and high in alcohol, good combo. Maybe disastrous.

Strong toffee with some brown sugar in the end. Taste becomes fuller as it nears room temp. A dry sweetness is present.
