Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at Takanoya. Malty, crackers, light hops. Malty and grain flavor, not much hops. Decent but not really memorable.

500ml bottle. Pours very pale with a thick fluffy head. Aroma is lemon, lime, gooseberry and a little wheat. Flavour is citrus, grass and some sweet caramel on the finish. This is a nice citrusy crisp pilsner.

Bottle. Pale gold with a huge white head. Aroma of citrus blossoms (lime, orange) gooseberries, crackers. Over-carbonated. As it warms and gasses out a bit, some hayish malt emerges which balances the interesting hops well after it first seemed just fruity and bitter. The hops walk a line between floral and NZ fruity that makes Kiwi pils such a fine thing.
