New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2): Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is flowers, but not at their prime... more like the stems and leaves than the aromatic parts. Taste is like a mediocre blonde ale with some elements that I suppose are, in part, thanks to the flowers. Lightly hopped. Bready. This was worse than I thought it would be.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear gold with a slight, white foam head. Some tangy citrus in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some grassy bitterness, sugary malts and orange and lemon. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Light doughy malt sweetness to finish, some further grassy bitterness, dry lemon peel, subtle tang. So so.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is floral and fruity with some biscuity malt. Flavor is light malt with some grassyness and a bit of honey. FInish is clean and does not leave much after the swallow. It a decent overall low alcohol beer.

Bottle. Pours with a massive white head and a clear yellow hued body. Good lace. Aromas are biscuity, bready and floral malt with notes of honey, light acidity, flowery, lightly minty and earthy hops. Mild esters, lemon. Flavors are very herbal and tea like. Bready malts, marmalade, chamomile. Low acidity, cornbread. Medium low bitterness. Slightly chalky feeling. Soft carbonation. Minty hop. Very tea like overall.

smells like a noble hop green bottle lager. look is interesting. has lots of floaties in there. taste initially is a little bitter, but yes it is that dandelion kind of bitter. Yes, a little interesting and but not quite as unique as I thought it would be. Not sure if there is any sourness in there as stated in the descriptions.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy bright golden color with lots of tiny floaters and a medium sized foamy orange white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and a bit floral with notes of honey and chamomile. The flavor was way too dry, bitter and acidic with light perfume and citrus. Medium length bitter and dry finish with lingering citrus and perfume. Light body. Eh. The aroma had promise but the flavor really failed to deliver.

Bottle. Good grief! This pours a clear looking gold until I look closely and realize there are a thousand billion unidentified floaty objects swirling around in the body under the finger or so of soapy looking head. Aromas are thick with skunky euro lager hops and a little lemongrass or something herbal. Favor is a poor mix of honey and sweet underatennuated malt with a little bit of a herbal edge to it that might, if I were feeling generous, border on dandelion. It is classically Magic Hat in that it is a clever idea that is somewhat shoddily executed and falls short of the target. It’s fine as a summer sipper type beer that is lower in ABV, but to market it as anything more than that is misleading, to say the least.

Bottle. Pours gold. Nose and taste of flaked oat, dandelion, light malt and even lighter lacto sourness. Light body.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of flowery and grassy hops. Taste is light bitter. Flowery and pine hops. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing I would seek out, but a decent lawnmower beer.
