Bottle from Tesco, NI. Pretty decent session IPA, lacks lasting power...inital big hop hit. Mixed quality.

Many thanks to Beersiveknown for this bottle. Fresh and floral. Not too intense. A bit watery, but fresh and malty. Nice bitter aftertaste.

Interesting having the C No Evil first because that had some interesting flavors and complexities to it, this however, as being their major release, it disappointing. Pours a completely flat clear amber into the tulip glass, not a hint of a head, aroma of floral hops and some sweet cheerio-like malts. Taste is bland, malt-forward, some citrus and floral from the hops, but mainly just watered-down malt sweetness. Creating a session IPA out of the gate is asking to be viewed poorly. Unless you’re Founders or Sierra Nevada, and have created some spectacular IPA’s, this is a misstep.

Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [100414]
Amber, clear, bubbly white head
Aroma of soft sweet caramel malts, soft pine, dab of resinous hops, bit of an unusual scorched caramelized orange note
Taste of soft citrus zest, dab of grassy hops. sweet caramel malts, quite malty, caramelized orange malts, not overly hoppy
Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite oily. Faorly sweet, very soft bitter zest. Finish as main flavour, quite rapid, touch more bitter zest
Overall - OK, taste and aroma had a slighty unusual note. I was expecting a hopbomb and it wasn’t. Throwing more hops into this will improve it a lot, i’m sure.

Bottle. Clean orange amber with no real head. Aroma is light peach. Flavor is dry bitter, watery and thin. Dull bitter palate.
