Bottle. Pine, grassy hops notes, bitter finish. Not what I’d call an interesting IPA - it lacks nuance - but ok if those superior beers aren’t on the menu

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that once it dissipated there was a decent looking stringy lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had some piney to lemon/orange aromas delicately coming underneath my nose.
The taste was mainly sweet but had a decent bitter piney background.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for an AIPA as there was just enough harshness about it.
Overall, I say this was a decent AIPA to come back to, however, not a standout.

A light citrus taste with some unremarkable malt and an ok session beer quality to it. Pours orangy red with ok head and lacing. Medium bitterness, fizzy carbonation. Tap at 121 Acre.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange-amber color with a small creamy orange-tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with notes of lemon and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter, tart and sour with strong grapefruit moderate lemon and lime. Long bitter, tart and sour grapefruit finish. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle, courtesy of nimbleprop – thanks! Pours an amber orange, nice clarity and two fingers of creamy sand colored head. Thick sheets of lacing and great head retention. Ripe citrus hops, grapefruit and light tropical fruit blend, a faint dank herbal scent, and caramel malt. The taste is soft up front, herbals and dirty florals. The citrus fruit is missing, but the malt base works very well with the florals. Good flavors, but mild in intensity. It does have a little more bite at the finish, but overall mild for a DIPA.

This IPA pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Medium body with a mildly citrrusy hops character and notes of caramel malt and trace spices. The finish is lightly bitter hops with a short lemony aftertaste. Slightly above average all around.

Bottle in the Maj Ap at Hamilton during C&C Day 2011. Pours a dark, clear, brown-gold with a foamy head. Light pine and orange, lemon citrus nose. Has some nice honey and caramel notes, more pine, and light to medium bitterness in the flavor. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Short to medium hop finish, mild resins. Decent.
