12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with lots of active carbonation. Large white head, decent retention and slight lacing. Aroma is slightly grassy with some major corn and some toasted malts. Taste is bitter, grassy hops with a sweet corny finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle from T’s in Tempe, AZ as Czech Rebel. Darker golden lager with a frothy off-white head. Noble hop aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavors of pale malt and grassy hop. Not a pilsner(to me), but a very tasty lager. Mildy bitter finish. Good drink.

Bottle. Poured pale gold with foamy fast dissipating white head. Faint new hay aroma. Faint light flavour, a little malt, a little hop. Almost no finish. Not great, but nothing terrible. A commonplace pilsener

(Draught on 2008-07-27) Golden. Clear. Big white head. Metallic and lightly buttery nose. Medium-bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Hops, malts, buttery flavours and bitterness in taste. Quite basic Czech pils.

16.9oz bottle-pours a big rich foamy to shaving cream off white head with lots of lacing and yellow/gold color with effervescence. Aroma is lemon/grassy hops (saaz), then faint light malt/grainy. Taste is sweet light malt/grainy-caramel, then lemon/grassy hops (saaz) with a slight bitterness. Finishes a little watery. OK/mild carbonation, a bit low. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing.

Bottled as "Czech Rebel Beer", alc. 4.4 % (BB 03/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Typical buttery Czech-pils type nose with some iron in it. Medium-bodied, but same time watery! In the beginning almost tasteless with metallic notes, but then in the aftertaste nice bitter buttery-hoppy flavors. Very Czech, but could be more interesting, now just "ok beer after sauna".

Bottle, bought as Czech Rebel Beer. Export bottle, which I bought before it could reach the US. Golden yellow, medium head. Hoppy flavours, only slightly malty, well-balanced. Dry finish.

Crystal-clear old gold; yellowish good head, leaving some lace. Very grainy nose, with a whiff of washing powder aroma, bit grassy or hay. Faint sweet initial taste, turning more sharp-toasted afterwards. Very faraway hoppiness. Light body, initial sharpness eventually dwindles to nought. I’d say this is a tired beer. It is quite possible that it is my bottle that is tired. Ought to be tasted on draught in Czechia, I suppose.
