Cask at Cockney Pub. Light malty aroma. Excellent head fully lasting, bitter like czeck pilsener is supposed to be. Finish average.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Czech Rebel" Fully golden with a small, creamy head. Rather good malty body, some bitterness. But nothing really of any character. Not bad, just boring. 16.0505

Bottle. Golden colour, quite big, stable head. Aroma is slightly metallic. OK maltiness, but the bitterness is a bit harsh.

The aroma is sweet and quite weird flowery. The color is golden and it hasa a beutiful head. The flavor is very fresh and carbonated with notes of caramel, but all in all (for me) boring and the body is thin.

This beer is traveling in fast company and just can't keep up. The only aspect that is worthy is the proper bitterness but it lacks the malt aspects of a good Boh Pils to round this beer out. Stick to a Pilsner Urquell or a Budvar if you want a proper beer in this style.

Golden body with a thin (1 centimetre) thick white head. Smells of sugar, a bit of hops and a slight citrus twang. Light-bodied; Tastes of malt, a bit of hops and a wierd sweetness (of unknown origin). The beer finishes with a metallic bite, but it really isn't as bad as I had thought. In the palate lies a few grassy and earthy tastes, perhaps mushrooms as well. I was expecting worse and I didn't get a bad beer at all. Perhaps mine was a bit better off, but I don't know. I tasted mine from a 500 mL bottle that I just found in my refridgerator!

Yellow, heavily carbonated. Typical pilsner flavor. Finish was a little sour. Drink it cold. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Rebel Zlatý on 03 Aug 2018 at 20:28 - Score: 5

Can't say I enjoyed this one much at all. Maybe it is because I had my first Chimay Bleu to look forward to after this, but I had trouble gleaning anything positive out of this beer. This one was $1.19 as opposed to the Brou Czech which was $.99, but I enjoyed the Brou Czech more. Go figure. Sharp, sour flavor and aroma was weak. I am staying away from this one.

Golden coloured, rich head. Oily, very aroamtic aroma. Rather light bodied and dry with bitter finish. An excellent flavourful Czechish pilsener.
