Pour is a dark amber with a large tan head. Aroma is dark fruit with a helping of brown sugar. Flavor is lots of candi sugar and toffee with some more fruityness toward the end. Finish leaves a little roasted malt behind. I’m not sure about this being a dubble but its a decent Belgian ale made here in Missouri.

Diacetyl and cherry aroma. Clear copper, thin head. Tea and cherry flavor. Perfumey. Not a good Dubbel.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Aroma smells like pure malt extract, nothing more and nothing less. Appearance wise, it’s a clear copper with a thicker than usual head. Taste wise, it’s like a mixture of malted barley and some type of preservative, almost like a toast beer with strawberry jam. It’s not horrible but not great.

12 oz bottle shared by csbosox. Pour is clear golden ruby with a one inch active off white head. Aroma is a foul, plastic sort of garbage thing. Beyond that, a bit of sweet malt. Taste is less offensive, with just the sweetish malt with the sourish taste - weird, kinda off putting. Palate was medium bodied, a bit on the oily side. Based on other reviews, this may have been a less then perfect bottle. Thanks Chris?
