Cask at GBBF '19, day four, 09/08/19. Black with a tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, spice, roast malts, toffee fudge. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, charr, dried fruits, dates, tangy fruit rinds, light chilli bite. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze. Ok stuff if lacking some depth for the high boost ... quite spicy.

Growler from Meridian Pint. Poured a pitch black color with a small, lasting tan head. Aroma was super rich dark chocolate roast. Flavor was lots of roasted malts, some bakers chocolate, very light herbal character. Some alcohol, but really well hidden.

Cask at GBBF 2019. Slight suspicion that this was somehow mislabelled or such like. Dark and chocolatey but with a load of pepper. Nice enough as a sample but not something I'd want to have more of.
