Rust and piney bitterness. Solid for style. Amber pour with good head and lacing. Bitter end. Tap at brewery. Probably best one so far.

From a branch of Total wine in Sterling, Virginia. Deep amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. Light, citrus hops, rich, slightly toasty malts, red berry fruit sweetness, hint of caramel richness and lingering, dryish finish. Good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel amber color with a huge foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter and a bit rough with fruity and piney hops. The flavor was very bitter and astringent with pine, strong fruity hops and a bit of tobacco. Long finish. Medium body.
